French Montana reportedly bought Khloé Kardashian a £29,000 car for her birthday.
The 29-year-old rapper whose real name is Karim Kharbouch went all out for the reality TV star’s special occasion on June 26, and gifted her a swanky white Jeep in celebration of her turning 30. The pair, who have reportedly been dating since April, appeared smitten with each other as they marked the milestone with a lavish party at the upmarket Don Coqui restaurant in The Bronx, New York City. At 1.am, French led the brunette beauty, whose actual birthday falls on June 27, into the restaurant car park, where her new Wrangler Sahara Jeep awaited her, according to the MailOnline. Khloé’s friends and family including sisters Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie stood on the steps outside as they watched the star accept her generous gift. As well as a shiny new car, Khloé was also treated to a three-tier white cake, which was complete with three huge firework candles and a gorgeous gold bow. Taking to her Instagram account last night the stunner posted a picture of her blowing out the candles, which she accompanied with the cryptic caption: ‘I couldn’t help but wish for a couple of forevers.’ Meanwhile, Khloé’s mother Kris Jenner recently claimed the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star and French were nothing more than good ‘friends’. Khloé filed for divorce from her ex-husband Lamar Odom in December after four years of marriage following rumours he was addicted to cocaine and cheated on her multiple times. ...

Michael Brown TEENAGE BOY WHO WAS SHOT BY POLICE

Ferguson police: Michael Brown was robbery suspect

A series of CCTV pictures showing a robbery in a store in Ferguson

Michael Brown, the black teenager shot by police on Saturday in Ferguson, Missouri, was a suspect in a robbery just moments earlier, police have said.
Police say Mr Brown, 18, was one of two men suspected of robbing a nearby convenience store.
Minutes later he was shot by Officer Darren Wilson after a struggle, Ferguson police Chief Thomas Jackson said on Friday.
The killing sparked days of violent protests in Ferguson.
Chief Thomas Jackson spelled out the name of the officer, Darren Wilson, in front of journalists at a news briefing
Mr Jackson described the robbery at the convenience store as being committed without the use of a weapon.
Police released to the press by police shows pictures of a well-built black man intimidating a clerk in the store.
The report identifies Mr Brown as one of the robbers and says he "grabbed a box of Swisher Sweet cigars" and handed them to a second suspect identified as Mr Brown's friend, Dorian Johnson.
Since the shooting on Saturday, Mr Johnson has given a number of interviews in which he has said Mr Brown held up his hands in an act of surrender before being shot by the officer.
He has not mentioned his involvement in any robbery.
Mr Wilson, the police officer said to have shot Mr Brown, is a six-year veteran of the police force with no disciplinary record, Chief Thomas Jackson said.
Mr Jackson said he was treated for injuries sustained during the confrontation with Mr Brown, but he provided no other details of the deadly encounter.

Burna Boy Quits Aristokrat Records

Self-styled hip hop singer, Burna Boy has parted ways with the record label, Aristokrat Records that brought him to limelight.
According to a source, the ‘Yawa Dey Oh’ crooner is no longer with AR as revealed by his new video, ‘Don Gorgon’ which does not have AR imprint.
To add credence to this notion, AR in-house producer, Lenq didn’t produce the song and Burna Boy’s debut album L.I.F.E was entirely produced by Lenq. There may have been no love lost between the duo as the record label has removed everything about Burna on its social media.
The friction may have stemmed from Burna Boy’s lifestyle and his mother’s deep involvement in his career.
Recently, Damini Ogulu (his real name) who came into the music scene with ‘Like To Party’ hit single fired his mum as manager.

Ebola: Dangote Donates N150m

The Dangote Foundation has donated N150 million to the Ebola Emergency Operation Centre in Lagos.
Making the donation on behalf of Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Mrs. Adiembong Adage, said ‘the centre is a platform through which critical investment by government and private sector can be made towards curtailing this Ebola crisis.”
Mrs. Adage encouraged Nigerians to take personal responsibility of the situation and not to panic while making use of the relevant information that were being disseminated by the government.
Also in his contribution, the Information and Communications Minister, Mr. Labaran Maku thanked the Dangote foundation for the donation, ‘by donating 150 million, Dangote foundation has upped the game. We thank them for taking the first step,’ while calling on well-meaning Nigerians to show solidarity to the fight against Ebola.
He also slammed the foreign media who he said were bent on tarnishing the corporate image of Nigeria through the generalization of the Ebola spread in the country.
He said “Some media will quote that Ebola has killed over one thousand in West Africa while putting Nigeria in the figure.”
‘We have noticed two media houses in particular who have continuously refused to send the true picture of Ebola spread in Nigeria in spite of all our efforts to brief the media in very transparent manner. We have not hidden anything as far as this virus is concerned,’ he said.
He pointed out that ‘one of the media has particularly refused to report Ebola but to impugn on the integrity of Nigeria. They will use this unfortunate incident of Ebola to run down the corporate image of our country and our people.
‘If it continues, I can tell you that we are going to take measures. Let it not come to pass that you want to push us to the wall and exploit our magnanimity, our free democratic spirit to run down the image.’
Maku said was only the minister of Health that was empowered to announce any outbreak or new cases of the virus in order to guard against panic and erroneous reportage.

DR SIDS WEDDING COST 25.85M + DON JAZZY GAVE DR SID A PRADO JEEP FOR HIS WEDDING

Nigerian musician, Sidney Esiri a.k.a Dr. SID’s white wedding to Simi Osomo may have cost over N25m by  calculation. It should be noted that the wedding had several similarities with Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun and Tiwa Savage’s wedding in October 2013. On Saturday, August 23, 2014, Lagos Oriental Hotel on Lekki-Epe expressway, which served as the venue of the wedding, attracted several members of the Esiri and Osomo families, friends and colleagues of the couple. A staggering N1, 302, 000 ($8,000) was splashed on Simi’s engagement ring while her Melange white gold wedding band from the luxurious Frost jewelry store in London reportedly cost N2, 278,500 ($14,000). The modestly planned wedding turned out to be one of the grandest and most star-studded weddings in the month of August 2014. From the bride and grooms outfits to the wedding planners and security detail put in place, it’s obvious a lot of money was put into the planning and execution of the flamboyant wedding. The Esiri and Osomo wedding was a well-organized wedding by the bespoke wedding design and planning outfit, The Wedding Company, the same company that handled musician Darey Art Alade’s wedding to wife Deola and Basketmouth’s wedding to Elsie. A staggering N6m was reportedly put to good use by The Wedding Company to achieve a memorable day, while Uche Majekodunmi’s Newton and David decorated the reception venue for N2m. The venue of the wedding, the grand ball room of the Lagos Oriental Hotel, is usually rented for between N1.5m to N3m. For the record, Dr. SID’s wedding suit was a bespoke Tom Ford suit that goes for $4,000. Investigations conducted by Nigerian Entertainment Today Newspapers shows that Tom Ford doesn’t sell his menswear online. To purchase the designer suit, intending buyers needs to visit an upscale boutique to try it on before ordering a bespoke one. The gigantic white wedding cake cost a little more than N2m, according to a family source. Varieties of delicacies were in abundance as small companies that provided the canapés, ice creams and barbecues. All sorts of drinks were available, from soft drinks, to beer, spirits, wines, to champagnes; totaling up to approximately N5m. UK based Celebrity DJ, Producer and songwriter, Florence Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy was also on deck to spin on the turntables just as she did at the Tunji/Tiwa’s wedding alongside DJ Xclusive. Earthquake Today in China Kills at Least 381, Injures 1,800: Magnitude 6.1

BEIJING—Rescuers dug through shattered homes Monday looking for survivors of a strong earthquake in southern China’s Yunnan province that killed at least 381 people and injured more than 1,800.
About 12,000 homes collapsed in Ludian, a densely populated county located about 366 kilometers (277 miles) northeast of Yunnan’s capital, Kunming, Chinese state-run media Xinhua News Agency reported.
The magnitude-6.1 quake struck at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles), according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Its epicenter was in Longtoushan township, 23 kilometers (14 miles) southwest of the city of Zhaotong, the Ludian county seat. China’s earthquake monitoring agency put the magnitude at 6.5.
Ma Liya, a resident of Zhaotong, told Xinhua that the streets there were like a “battlefield after a bombardment.” She added that her neighbor’s house, a new two-story building, had toppled, and said the quake was far worse than one that struck the area in 2012 and killed 81 people.
“The aftermath is much, much worse than what happened after the quake two years ago,” Ma said. “I have never felt such strong tremors before. What I can see are all ruins.”
Rain and thunderstorms were forecast for the area in the coming hours, complicating efforts to bring tents, water food and other relief supplies to survivors. Roads had caved in, and rescuers were forced to travel on foot.
Xinhua and state broadcaster CCTV said 381 people were killed, citing rescuers. CCTV said 1,891 were injured, three were missing and 29,400 had been evacuated. The death toll was expected to rise, once rescuers reached remote communities to assess casualties.
Many of the homes that collapsed in Ludian, which has a population of about 429,000, were old and made of brick, Xinhua said, adding that electricity and telecommunications were cut off in the county.
The mountainous region where the quake occurred is largely agricultural, with farming and mining the top industries, and is prone to earthquakes.
Relief efforts were underway, with more than 2,500 troops dispatched to the disaster region, Xinhua said. The Red Cross Society of China allocated quilts, jackets and tents for those made homeless by the quake, while Red Cross branches in Hong Kong, Macau and neighboring Sichuan province also sent relief supplies.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon offered “his condolences to the Chinese Government and the families of those killed,” according to a statement from his office. The statement said the U.N. is ready to “lend its assistance to efforts to respond to humanitarian needs” and “to mobilize any international support needed.”
The White House also offered its condolences.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those that lost their lives,” said National Security Council deputy spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan. “The United States stands ready to assist.”
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said the quake was the strongest to hit Yunnan in 14 years.
In 1970, a magnitude-7.7 earthquake in Yunnan killed at least 15,000 people, and a magnitude-7.1 quake in the province killed more than 1,400 in 1974. In September 2012, 81 people died and 821 were injured in a series of quakes in the Yunnan region.
In May 2008, a powerful quake in Sichuan province left nearly 90,000 people dead or missing.
